Harp Lessons

Harp Lessons

Each student is unique and gifted.

As a private teacher, I believe that the best learning happens when students feel safe, valued, nurtured, and challenged. I see my students as individuals and try to customize harp lessons to meet each student's need and goals.  I prioritize a holistic approach to teaching and as such, I provide a friendly environment where families can count on student wellness being prioritized. Through learning the harp, students can acquire skills that will help them throughout their lives, as amateur musicians or future professionals in the field.

There are many options to suit your needs.

30, 45, and 60 minute lessons are available. I will help you determine the best amount of time for your student, based on their current level, age, and individual needs. Lessons are conveniently held in your home, on your harp.

Need a harp? No problem. I am happy to assist you in acquiring your own harp, either by rental or purchase. Together, we can find an appropriate instrument.

Performance Opportunities

Learning to prepare prepare for and perform in recitals and concerts is a great way to challenge students, unlock their potential, and grow in new skills that have tremendous value. Performance can enhance skills in public speaking and presentation, increase self-efficacy, and teach stress management. There are two studio recitals per year, generally in December and May. I am also constantly looking for other opportunities for community engagement, including playing in retirement facilities, libraries, and places of worship.

Often my students are asked to perform outside of studio performances by friends, family and teachers. I am extremely supportive of that.
